Wednesday, February 17As part of its 25th Anniversary of Cityhood, the City of West Hollywood is working with the prestigious Cornerstone Theatre Company to produce its very own West Hollywood Musical - a fully staged production that will open in October 2010. A significant part of the development of this work is gathering the community together in a series of "story circles" for people to share their stories of the City and what it has meant to them. This story circle is targeted toward LGBT people who are 50+ years old. It's a very exciting process, from which the story will be crafted by one of Los Angeles' most prolific and respected playwrights, Tom Jacobson. For more information, please contact Damali Ayo, Manager of Community Partnerships, Cornerstone Theater Company at dayo@cornerstonetheater.org or 213/613-1700, ext. 19.
