About the California Public Records Act
In accordance with the California Public Records Act (California Government Code § 6250 et. seq.), the City of West Hollywood strives to provide prompt and efficient access to public records. These records may include, but are not limited to: Agendas, Minutes, Resolutions, Ordinances, Agreements, and Staff Reports. Any person may request to inspect or receive a copy of a public record, excluding records exempt from disclosure by law. Although the California Public Records Act allows the City 10 days to respond to a request, in some instances records not exempt from disclosure will be made available promptly. In certain circumstances, additional time may be required for research or records retrieval. All document duplication fees are based on the City’s current fees (City Council Resolution No. 16-4841). If you require assistance with this request, please contact staff in the Office of the City Clerk at the phone number provided above.

Step 2
Office of the City Clerk staff will determine if the City has documents responsive to this request and respond to you within ten (10) days of receiving this form. Staff will also inform you of any reproduction charges.

Step 3
If you would like to review the original documents at the Office of the City Clerk, please contact staff to arrange a time to view the materials. If you would like to receive copies of the requested documents, remit the indicated reproduction fees to the Office of the City Clerk. Also indicate whether you would like to pick up the documents or have staff mail them to you.

The duplication fee for photocopies is $0.25 per page.  Additional costs may apply for postage (U.S. Mail or expedited delivery), photographs, or electronic records where special programming is required.  All payments are due at the time document reproduction is provided.  Payment may be made in cash, credit or check payable to: City of West Hollywood.
