book fair inviteThe City of West Hollywood will host the 10th Annual West Hollywood Book Fair on Sunday, October 2, 2011 10:00a.m to 6:00p.m. at the new West Hollywood Library and West Hollywood Park, 625 North San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood. The West Hollywood Book Fair is one of Southern California's largest, most eclectic literary events attracting readers and writers of all ages and interests. This year, the West Hollywood Book Fair will also celebrate the opening of the much-anticipated new West Hollywood Library.

The West Hollywood Book Fair will feature twelve stages with author panels, special guests and live performances, 125 exhibitors and writing workshops. Featured authors will include Lisa See, author of critically-acclaimed international bestseller Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and author of the new book Dreams of Joy; Florence Henderson, an actress best known for her role as Carol Brady in the television series The Brady Bunch and new author of the autobiography Life is Not a Stage: From Broadway Baby to a Lovely Lady and Beyond; Kwei Quartey is the author of the best-selling Darko Dawson mystery series set in Ghana, his current book is “Children of the Street”; Hector Tobar is a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist, weekly columnist for the Los Angeles Times and author of the upcoming novel “The Barbarian Nurseries”; Dyan Cannon, is an Academy-award nominated actress and author of Dear Cary: A Memoir about her tumultuous relationship with Hollywood legend Cary Grant; and Ransom Riggs, author of the young adult best-seller Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

Other authors will participate include Christopher Rice, West Hollywood resident and best-selling author of a new book, The Moonlit Earth; Hope Edelman, best-selling author of Motherless Daughters and author of The Possibility of Everything; Marcia Clark, prosecutor in the infamous OJ Simpson case, television correspondent and author of a new thriller, Without a Doubt; Rex Pickett, author of the iconic book Sideways and the new sequel, Vertical; Amy Ephron is a novelist, screenwriter and producer, her new book is Loose Diamonds and other Things I’ve Lost Along the Way; Meredith Baxter, best known as Elyse Keaton on the 1980s hit series Family Ties and author of Untied: A Memoir of Family, Fame and Floundering; Karrine Steffans, author of Satisfaction: Erotic Fantasies for the Advanced & Adventurous Couple; and Steve-O, star of “Jackass” and author of Professional Idiot: A Memoir.
