Summer Sounds Concert Series
The City of West Hollywood is proud to present its free 2009 Summer Sounds Series on select Sundays throughout the summer months. Chairs will be available for attendees of the free concerts in the park, or guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and lounge on the lawn while enjoying the music.

West Hollywood Mayor Abbe Land, City Councilmembers and LGBT Leaders Express Anger Regarding the California State Supreme Court's Disappointing Ruling
Today, Mayor Abbe Land and members of the West Hollywood City Council joined with other leaders from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) community to denounce the California Supreme Court's disappointing ruling which upheld Proposition 8 and continued the ban on same-sex marriage in California.
