Economic Development

The Economic Development Department provides leadership and direction to the City in the development and management of its relationship with the business community. The Department creates and manages a range of programs that support and develop a vibrant local economy, including business attraction, retention and expansion; economic planning and forecasting; expanding the City's economic base in tourism; job training and workforce development; and the urban art program. Additionally, the Department manages and facilitates major public and private development projects.

Our Director of Economic Development and Special Projects is Ray Reynolds.
