  • 2009 Swine Flu Update
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed several human cases of the 2009 Swine Flu in the U.S., including California. As with prevention for any cold or flu, vigorously wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water to help prevent the spread of the virus. Stay home from work when you feel ill, and keep ill children out of school. Seek medical attention as appropriate. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) is working closely with the California State Department of Public Health.
