- Neighborhood Watch
The Neighborhood Watch program is one of the most effective means available for keeping crime out of our neighborhoods. When neighbors work together with law enforcement, one of the best crime fighting teams is created. Make your community safer from criminals by starting a Neighborhood Watch group in your neighborhood.
- West Hollywood Sheriffs
The City of West Hollywood contracts with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department for police protection. To reach the West Hollywood Sheriffs' Station, please dial (310) 855-8850 or in case of emergency, dial 9-1-1.
- 2009 Swine Flu Update
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed several human cases of the 2009 Swine Flu in the U.S., including California.
As with prevention for any cold or flu, vigorously wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water to help prevent the spread of the virus. Stay home from work when you feel ill, and keep ill children out of school. Seek medical attention as appropriate.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) is working closely with the California State Department of Public Health.
