City to Host 13th Annual Healthy West Hollywood Kids' Fair

The Thirteenth Annual Healthy West Hollywood Kids' Fair, which features entertainment, free health services, a public safety expo, Earth Day Eco-Village and student art show, will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at West Hollywood Park, 647 N. San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood. Parking will be available at the Pacific Design Center, located across the street from the park. Admission is free.

The Healthy West Hollywood Kids' Fair will include more than 40 information and activity booths, including the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, Museum of Tolerance, Wildlife Way Station, Lenny Krayzelburg Swim School and Fit 4 Life. Information will also be available about City-sponsored social services, recreational and health-related services for children and families; environmental information; interactive displays at the Eco-Village; free give-aways regarding recycling, conservation and storm water run-off; library services; literacy activities and nutritional education and much more.

The Healthy West Hollywood Kids' Fair will also feature food booths, an obstacle course, bubblemania and children's activities such as arts and crafts, entertainment and a variety of other interactive activities and programs. Kids will have the opportunity to participate in the public safety expo and receive information, fingerprinting services and explore a fire truck, Sheriff's patrol car and ambulance.
