Service During Pride Weekend (June 9th-June 11th)

In celebration of the 2017 LA Pride celebration in West Hollywood on June 9, 10 and 11, West Hollywood’s free shuttle to Hollywood and Highland, CityLineX, and West Hollywood’s free weekend ride along Santa Monica Boulevard, The PickUp, will get together and become “Pride Ride.”

Pride Ride, which will combine the services of CityLineX and The PickUp, will operate on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m. (with service to and from Hollywood and Highland ending at approximately 9 p.m.) and on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. (with service to and from Hollywood and Highland ending at approximately 1 a.m.). #ResistMarch Shuttle Service

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, for the #ResistMarch, CityLineX vehicles will depart from the City of West Hollywood at 20-minute intervals from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. to transport people to Hollywood and Highland, where #ResistMarch will take place, beginning at 8 a.m. CityLineX vehicles will depart from the following stops:

  • Pacific Design Center, loading area located at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard;
  • Santa Monica Boulevard at Kings Road;
  • Santa Monica Boulevard at Fairfax Avenue;
  • Santa Monica Boulevard at Sierra Bonita Avenue; and
  • Santa Monica Boulevard at La Brea Avenue.

CityLineX vehicles will drop marchers off near the corner of Hawthorn Avenue near Highland Avenue (just south of Hollywood Boulevard on the west side of Highland Avenue) until street closures go into effect at approximately
9 a.m. (or earlier depending on crowds). Once area roads are closed, the drop-off location will change to De Longpre Avenue at La Brea Avenue (just south of Hollywood Boulevard on the east side of La Brea Avenue).

Following the march, Pride Ride will provide eastbound service using CityLineX vehicles from the Pacific Design Center stop (from the loading area located at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard) beginning at approximately 1 p.m. until approximately 5:30 p.m. Drop-off stops for eastbound services will be Santa Monica Boulevard/Fairfax Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard/La Brea.

The PickUp will run from eastbound and westbound in a continuous loop from La Brea Avenue to Kings Road from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; then The PickUp will resume its regular route from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Cityline is an easy and friendly way to get all the benefits of public transportation, closer to home. There is probably a stop not far from where you live. You can use it to connect to Metro lines, or just to do errands around town. You can help cut down on traffic and pollution, leave your car at home and avoid parking hassles!

Where can I go on Cityline?
You can take Cityline to do your grocery shopping at any of the markets in town. Cityline stops at the West Hollywood Library, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, most City parks, West Hollywood City Hall, the post office, and many major commercial areas in the City.
