Community Meeting – Changes to Voting in L.A. County

Join us at the West Hollywood City Council Chambers on June 5th at 6:00 P.M. to hear more!  To RSVP for this meeting, visit our event page here where you can also see other meeting dates. Refreshments and snacks will be served.

Exciting changes are coming to Los Angeles County elections starting in March 2020. Next year, a brand new voting experience will be rolling out, including countywide vote centers that allow you to vote anywhere in the county, a cutting edge ballot marking device, and a longer in-person voting period that begins 10 days before Election Day.

On June 5th, California Common Cause, the City of West Hollywood, and the LA Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk are hosting a community meeting to discuss the updates to our voting system in LA County.  We will also be asking for your feedback on ideal vote center locations. This is a unique opportunity to learn about and shape the 2020 elections in your community.
