Summer Sounds WeHo: The Matt Politano Trio

The City of West Hollywood's 2019 Summer Sounds FREE Outdoor Concert Series presents

The Matt Politano Trio
Jazz / Standards

Sunday, August 18, 2019, 5pm
Kings Road Park, 1000 Kings Road, West Hollywood

Ask any jazz musician about pianist Matt Politano and all would jump to universally acknowledge his sheer mastery of his instrument and of jazz. Originally a trumpeter playing in the prestigious One O’clock Lab band at the University of North Texas, Matt made the decision to switch to piano and transferred to the Manhattan School of Music. Since moving back to California he has become one of the best out here on the West Coast. This transcendental improviser explores music with such artistry and imagination while still showing a deep respect for the beauty of a melody.
