Take a sneak peek behind the scenes of LA's premier women's choir, VOX Femina Los Angeles. Join VOX for an open rehearsal and see how Founding Artistic Director Dr. Iris S. Levine and Associate Conductor Lori Marie Rios work with singers to get the signature VOX sound as they prepare for the upcoming concert, "Weather the Storm." The concert honors the fifth anniversary of the murder of George Floyd featuring a performance of Rollo Dilworth's "Weather." commissioned for women's voices by VOX and invites the audience to not only listen but to explore and acknowledge the ways in which they can make the world a better place. This concert will inspire you to sing, compel you to stand together, and leave you with a renewed sense of hope. This presentation is supported in part by an arts grant from the City of West Hollywood.
