Aneesa Strings is a powerhouse bassist, vocalist, and composer whose genre-blending sound moves effortlessly through jazz, soul, and R&B. HourTheBand is a genre-blending force fusing the soul of R&B, the bounce of hip hop, and the shimmer of pop into a sound that’s both smooth and unexpected. DJ Novena Carmel, aka "your friend in frequency," is  A spirited open-format DJ and host of KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.
