Proposal:
We are proposing a new 1,111 square foot outdoor dining area (including 263 square feet of landscaped planters) at the rear of the ground floor. An existing outdoor dining area also remains at the front of the building along Santa Monica Boulevard.
While sound levels are expected to comply with the City's Noise Ordinance, we are proposing a 10-foot-tall acoustic fence with an internal sound blanket and mass loaded vinyl around the rear patio to further mitigate noise. Additionally, a large bamboo planter exceeding 10 feet in height will help buffer sound to the north. The patio is located approximately 36.5 feet from the nearest residential building.
This outdoor space is intended to enhance the dining experience by offering an open-air seating option alongside the existing indoor restaurant area.
