The name of Alexander Gorodnitsky is well known to lovers of Russian poetry and bard songs all over the world. It is on par with the names of Vladimir Vysotsky, Bulat Okudzhava, Yuri Vizbor, and the poet himself is rightfully recognized as a living classic.
