2025 Women's Voices Now Leslie J. Sacks Grand Prize Screening

The event features a live screening of Angels of Sinjar, the 2025 Leslie J. Sacks Grand Prize winner, followed by a Q&A and reception centered on women’s rights and the power of film to inspire social change. 

Directed by Academy- and Emmy-Award nominee Hanna Polak, Angels of Sinjar is more than just a film; it's a call to action. When a solemn promise to a dying father becomes an impossible mission to rescue five sisters from ISIS enslavement, one woman's journey exposes a forgotten genocide and illuminates the unbreakable power of the human spirit. Experience the acclaimed 2025 Leslie J. Sacks Grand Prize winner, Angels of Sinjar, a harrowing yet deeply inspiring documentary. Following the screening, engage in a crucial Q&A session with experts and advocates, delving into the themes of women's rights, resilience, and the vital role film plays in sparking social change.
