Metro invites you to a community meeting for an update on the K Line Northern Extension (KNE) project to learn more about the project and provide your input.
The meetings will include:
- A presentation on the latest research and findings on alignment options, property impacts, and tunnel safety as it relates to historic Mid-City neighborhoods
- An update on the next steps and community feedback
- An opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts
About the Project
The K Line Northern Extension will connect four major rail lines and six of the highest ridership bus lines in LA County, improving access to jobs, services, and regional destinations. Based on community concerns shared during the Draft EIR comment period, Metro has conducted additional research on tunnel safety, property values, and additional alignment options in Mid-City Los Angeles historic neighborhoods south of West Hollywood.
