The City of West Hollywood is proud to support the presentation of a free community screening of the documentary film AIDS Diva: The Legend of Connie Norman as part of the City’s 40th Anniversary Cultural History Grant, meant to highlight and celebrate the City of West Hollywood’s 40 years of Cityhood. 

This special screening event will take place in the Renberg Theatre at the Los Angeles LGBT Center on Saturday, September 13, 2025, beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a reception, and screening at 7:00 p.m.

The film will be followed by a panel that will include Connie Norman’s activist colleagues gathered together live on stage. Panelists include Torie Osborn, Robin Podolsky, Peter Cashman, and others to be confirmed, including Director Dante Alencastre. The panel will be moderated by transgender activist/artist Jazzmun Crayton.
