Join West Hollywood City Poet Laureate Jen Cheng for a celebration of Essential Poems by Pat Parker. This in-person poetry reading celebrates Parker's poetry and her years in Los Angeles. Enjoy this reading hosted by Jen Cheng with Gabrielle Civil, Verbena Johnson, Ann Bradley, Mimi Gonzalez, and Monique Aya Parks. A moderated discussion of the poems will follow. Community partners Sinister Wisdom and June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives will provide archival materials for viewing.
