DoYou AVATAR Performance Activation is a one-day, four-hour creative workshop and live performance experience led by interdisciplinary artist Yozmit The DogStar, presented as part of her 2025 transgender empowerment initiative. Taking place on December 7, 2025, the workshop merges Yozmit’s DoYou AVATAR Workshop with a performance activation of her signature piece WALK—a visual and spiritual practice that unites art and ritual through movement and self-inquiry.
Participants will engage in guided meditation, sound healing, reflective writing, and movement practices integrating yoga, mime, and the Alexander Technique. Voice and breath work inspired by theater and Korean Pansori singing expand creative expression, while costume, mask, and vision-board creation support the embodiment of one’s personal “AVATAR”—a symbolic higher self sourced from within.
Born from Yozmit’s own journey of gender, identity, and healing, DoYou AVATAR Performance Activation transforms vulnerability into creative power. It invites participants of all identities to ask deeper questions of the self, explore the body as an artistic instrument, and awaken their authentic presence as a living work of art.
