WSCCOG Westside Bus Connection Program Community Workshop #3

Join a Community Workshop to Shape Better Bus Service on the Westside!  

The City of West Hollywood is working with the other Westside Cities to plan for bus speed and reliability improvements ahead of the LA28 Olympics. Help us Plan for Bus Infrastructure on the Westside and join us for an Upcoming Community Workshop or fill out the online survey!  The Westside Cities Council of Governments (WSCCOG) is leading the Westside Bus Connection project, a “quick-build” initiative aimed at enhancing the bus rider experience along three of the Westside’s busiest and most important corridors, including La Cienega Boulevard in the City of West Hollywood. Your input will help shape early design concepts and ensure the project reflects the community's needs. Interested in learning more? Join an upcoming meeting:

Westside Bus Connection Workshop #5 (Virtual)

·       Wednesday, June 10, 2026 (1pm-2:30pm)

These corridors are among the busiest in the region, and improvements could provide long-term benefits for riders while preparing the Westside for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The designs may include:

  • Dedicated and/or peak hour bus lanes
  • Transit signal upgrades
  • Curb and striping changes
  • Pedestrian and cyclist safety improvements
  • Bus pad improvements at select bus stops
