Veteran Feminist of America Women & Media Conference

The West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board is a proud co-sponsor of Veteran Feminists of America’s Women & Media Conference celebrating their 20th anniversary! Veteran Feminists of America was founded 20 years ago by second wave feminists committed to preserving the history as they lived it, sharing stories and celebrating extraordinary advances for women and girls. The Conference will feature workshops, guest speakers and an awards dinner. Honorees include labor leader Dolores Huerta, civil rights attorney Gloria Allred, Grammy Award-winning singer Helen Reddy, educator Linda Perkins, attorney activist Carol Downer, activist author Tucker Reed, feminist activist Joannie Parker and Veteran Feminist of America leaders Muriel Fox and Jacqui Ceballos.
