DESCRIPTION:We Were Like This Once is an audience-interactive performance by Summer Jade Leavitt from 1-4pm on July 26th, 2025 at ONE Institute’s Gallery in West Hollywood, 626 N. Robertson Blvd.. Visitors are invited to bring and donate an object to be used as part of the catalogue of Queer Archive. The donated objects can be anything, in shape or size. It could be something like an old toothbrush, a scribbled on napkin, a key, a deck of cards, a parking ticket. Following the event, a catalogue will be made documenting the donated objects & their stories. The donated objects will launch The Queer Theory Library’s archival collection and be published as the catalogue for We Were Like This Once, featuring the written oral history of each one.
