<p><b>Intimacy – If It Gets To That </b></p>
<p><i>(Wednesday, July 20, 2016; 7:30pm to 9pm)</i></p>
<p>We’ll discuss what intimacy means, why we crave it and the pros and cons of being a gay man who’s looking for non-sexual intimate connections. Even though sex is more easily available to gay men, and sex is regularly referred to as an “intimate act”, many of us still have trouble developing intimacy. Let’s share, strategize, and maybe even talk about the intimacy that we are developing amongst ourselves. </p>

<ol>
    <li>Why does intimacy feel so risky? </li>
    <li>Do gay men have a higher capacity for intimacy? </li>
    <li>Would you rather cuddle in front of the TV or have sex?</li>
    <li>Do gay men buy into macho ideas of “no feelings”?</li>
    <li>What kinds of intimacy are there? intellectual, emotional, experimental, workplace </li>
    <li>Can casual sex lead to intimate relationship? </li>
    <li>Who do you want to get closer to? Why? </li>
    <li>How does intimacy develop?</li>
</ol>
