Parks and Facilities

The City of West Hollywood has several parks and a swimming pool. West Hollywood and Plummer Park facilities are available for recreational events, community meetings, and sports activities. Kings Road Park is reservable for community events Monday through Saturday on a limited basis. No bookings are accepted for Sundays. All park facilities are open seven days a week, with the exceptions of holidays. Call the park offices for details.


The City of West Hollywood has declared a local emergency in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and has cancelled all non-essential events and programs in order to ensure public health and community safety.

The City urges community members to follow LA County Department of Public Health and State of California Safer at Home orders. All community members should stay at home whenever possible. When going out for essential needs or work, everyone should follow guidelines for social distancing. City coronavirus updates are available at

West Hollywood City Hall is currently closed to the public and has suspended all in-person transactions. The City’s Recreation Services Division has suspended operations until further notice and has cancelled facility reservations, programs, events, and activities. Additionally, parks are currently closed. Cancellations include programs and events listed in the Spring Rec Reader.

Three tennis courts are available to the public

Hours of Operation: 7 AM – 9 PM

Tennis Courts are available on a first come-first served basis. Tennis courts are located on the rooftop of the 5 Story Parking Structure located at West Hollywood Park (adjacent to the new library). During evening hours, lights on the court are activated by pushing the button located on the light poles on the north end of the courts. Lights take a few minutes to fully illuminate once the button has been pushed. 

The courts must be accessed by using the parking structure elevator. Players should visit the parking office located on the first floor in order to obtain a key card that allows access to the tennis courts. You will be required to provide a government issued picture ID card and leave it in City custody in exchange for a tennis court key card. Your ID will be returned when the card access key is returned to the parking office. There is a $10 fee assessed for all lost or stolen key cards.

For YOUR security, Please be advised that anyone providing access to the tennis courts by un-carded persons will lose their tennis court privileges! EVERYONE on the court must check-in with the Parking Office on the first floor to receive an access card.
