The City of West Hollywood’s City Clerk’s office and the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk will host a Voter Education Forum on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City’s Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room, located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. The meeting is free and open to the public. Attendees will be able to register to vote, update voter registration, practice using the ballot marking device, learn about options for voters with disabilities, and there will be opportunities to learn about the upcoming election.

Two West Hollywood City Council seats and one ballot measure will be decided in the upcoming General Municipal Election. City of West Hollywood Councilmembers each serve for a term of four years and are elected at large. West Hollywood-specific election information is available on the City’s website, including information about City Council candidates and on Measure WH.

Now is the time to get #VoteReady for the 2024 General Municipal Election, which will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Make a vote plan. The deadline to register to vote the election is Monday, October 21, 2024. If you are unregistered to vote, register today. If you are registered to vote, it is a good idea to check your voter registration and remind friends and family to do the same. Those who will be 18 years old by Election Day can pre-register to vote as well. All West Hollywood active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election. The LA County elections office will begin mailing ballots by October 7, 2024 and ballot drop-off locations open on October 8, 2024. Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned by mail, at a drop-off location, at a Vote Center, or at an LA County elections office. Many in-person Vote Centers open for early voting beginning on October 26, 2024. West Hollywood has three bright yellow ballot drop-off boxes: Plummer Park Community Center, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard; West Hollywood City Hall (in the parking structure driveway on N. Sweetzer Avenue), located at 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard; and outside the City’s Council Chambers adjacent to West Hollywood Library at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard.
