UPDATE - The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will continue its pavement restoration project on Monday night, April 14. Work will commence at 11PM and will continue until 6AM on Tuesday morning, April 15. LADWP is sending out notices to residents and business owners and the City's curbside message signs are being updated, as well.
The City of West Hollywood is getting the word out about an upcoming Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) pavement restoration project on N. La Cienega Boulevard, following a water mainline replacement project.
The pavement restoration project will impact lanes of traffic on N. La Cienega and will close parts of the intersection at Santa Monica Boulevard at N. La Cienega Boulevard as LADWP crews repave and restripe N. La Cienega Boulevard between Fountain Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.
Drivers will experience lane closures and detours during restoration hours. Drivers are encouraged to avoid La Cienega Boulevard north of Santa Monica Boulevard during these times and use alternate routes:
- Friday, March 28, 2025 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Traffic Lanes)
- Saturday, March 29, 2025 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Traffic Lanes/Intersection)
- Saturday, April 5, 2025 – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Traffic Lanes/Intersection)
- Monday, April 7, 2025 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Traffic Lanes)
City staff and Parking Enforcement personnel will monitor traffic and impacts, and Parking Enforcement will assist with traffic control, if needed. Community members are encouraged to opt-in to e-notifications.
