An Important Reminder: Do not drink and drive. The City of West Hollywood has many bars, restaurants, lounges, nightclubs, and venues that serve alcohol. The City is dedicated to encouraging social responsibility and maintaining establishments that are free from overconsumption of alcohol. If you drink, please don't drive. Everyone in West Hollywood can take part in working together to ensure that alcohol consumption is safe in our city. For tips to Imbibe Intelligently, click here.

The City of West Hollywood and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce (WHCC) introduce an April 2025 WeHappy Wednesdays free parking initiative, which is designed to help local venues and businesses thrive and foster community by making it easier and more affordable for residents and visitors to shop, dine, and explore the City.

The City of West Hollywood will offer free parking at all parking meters, City-owned surface lots, and City parking structures every Wednesday evening in April 2025 from 4 p.m. to midnight. This initiative removes a common barrier to visiting local establishments and encourages the community to rediscover favorite spots and explore new ones — all while directly supporting local businesses.

WeHappy Wednesdays is a direct effort to raise visibility and drive people to support West Hollywood venues and establishments. Many local businesses are navigating economic challenges following the pandemic, and the impact of recent wildfires, weighed with a general trend of changing consumer habits, is compounding these challenges. By eliminating parking fees for one evening each week in April, the initiative makes springtime outings more convenient and, in addition, fosters a sense of community and shared responsibility for West Hollywood’s ongoing success.
