Post Date:April 29, 2025 3:47 PM

National Bike Month 2025The City of West Hollywood recognizes National Bike Month, celebrated in communities across the country in May and sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists. National Bike Month celebrates the many benefits of biking and encourages everyone to give it a try, whether you bike to work or school, for fun, to save money, or to help the environment.

To celebrate Bike to Work Week, the City of West Hollywood, in partnership with the West Hollywood Bicycle Coalition, will host a “pit stop” pop-up for cyclists on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Join us at the northeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hancock Avenue (nearest address: 8743 Santa Monica Boulevard), for complimentary refreshments, coffee, free LED safety lights, and bike helmet giveaways to help make your commute safer and more enjoyable.

City staff and representatives will be available to share information about West Hollywood’s upcoming bike and pedestrian safety projects and sustainable transportation options, and to answer questions. Those interested can also sign up to receive updates by email and are encouraged to follow the City’s mobility and streetscape project pages on Engage WeHo.
