City of West Hollywood Invites Community to Hollywood Food Coalition’s Pickleball Fundraiser: ‘Smash Hunger: Pickle for Good’

Smash Hunger Pickle for Good 2025The City of West Hollywood is a co-sponsor of the Hollywood Food Coalition’s Pickleball Fundraiser Smash Hunger: Pickle for Good, which will on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center’s Tennis and Pickleball Courts, located at 8750 El Tovar Place, adjacent to the West Hollywood Library. This community-centered event is being brought to the community in partnership Tennacity.

The Hollywood Food Coalition’s Pickleball Fundraiser is designed to raise funds for Hollywood Food Coalition’s food recovery and meal distribution programs, which serve food-insecure individuals in West Hollywood and across Los Angeles. The event is free and open to the public to attend. Tickets for competing participants range between $50 and $100. Hollywood Food Coalition is a community-based organization committed to providing meal, food distribution, and support services that promote food equity with more than 30 years of experience actively engaging volunteers and community partnerships to provide daily meals to community members in critical need in West Hollywood and throughout the Los Angeles region. The mission of Hollywood Food Coalition is to nourish the community by rescuing and distributing food, preparing nightly meals, and uniting efforts to achieve food equity. This event will engage and encourage the community to participate in a health-centric activity while bringing awareness about food waste and hunger crises.
