City of West Hollywood will Host Two ‘Plummer Park Possibilities’ Workshops in November

Post Date:November 12, 2025 1:37 PM

Plummer Park Possibilities 2025The City of West Hollywood invites community members to attend one of two upcoming Plummer Park Possibilities workshops in the month of November. These workshops are a continuation of multiple rounds of community feedback, with the first round now complete. Workshop participants are invited to be part of the conversation about the organization and layout of Plummer Park and provide feedback on prioritizing facilities and dedicated uses, activities and events, and the extent of nature and green space in the future of the park.

Participants can choose to participate in one of two Possibility workshops: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Plummer Park’s Vista Lawn; or Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Plummer Park’s Great Hall. Plummer Park is located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard. The workshops are drop-in; no RSVP is required.

Plummer Park is one of West Hollywood’s most beloved public spaces, and this ongoing process will help to inform and shape the development of a Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan, one that reflects the community’s needs, values, and aspirations. Attendees will work on translating community feedback received to date into real possibilities, identifying new park programming opportunities, and exploring creative strategies raised by the input received thus far in the process.

Already the home to a diverse range of well-utilized programs and spaces, this new Plummer Park Comprehensive Improvement Plan will also incorporate emerging priorities and City goals, including accessibility, climate resilience, sustainability, and the preservation of historic and cultural resources. These workshops are an opportunity to help shape a vision for a park that honors its history, serves the needs of today’s community, and readies Plummer Park for the future.

Throughout fall and winter 2025/2026, the SWA Group, The Robert Group, and ARG, the project’s consultant team, in conjunction with the City’s Urban Design & Architecture Studio Division, will be hosting several community-oriented outreach events within Plummer Park. In addition to the City’s online Engage WeHo platform, in-person public engagement efforts thus far have included a community brainstorming workshop, several pop-up events, and a series of focused “topical chats and listening sessions” on (a) sports & recreation, (b) education and programming, (c) historic preservation, arts, and culture, and (d) nature and open space in Plummer Park.
