The City of West Hollywood and Christopher Street West will host the 2016 LA Pride Celebration in West Hollywood from Friday, June 10, 2016 through Sunday, June 12, 2016. Many thousands of people are expected to attend the Pride Festival and Parade.
Due to Pride events, the following streets and facilities will be temporarily closed:
- West Hollywood Park will be closed from 6 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016;
- West Hollywood Library will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016;
- West Hollywood Pool will be closed from 6 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2016 to 8 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016;
- Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed between Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. — West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station will live-tweet regarding this closure/re-opening at @whdlasd;
- San Vicente Boulevard will be closed between Santa Monica Boulevard and Melrose Avenue from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 through 10 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016;
- Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed from Fairfax Avenue to Doheny Drive from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016;
- Streets one block north and south of Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed from Fairfax Avenue to La Peer Drive from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016;
- Crescent Heights Boulevard will be closed from Romaine Street to Fountain Avenue from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016; and
- Norton Avenue will be closed between Havenhurst Drive and Laurel Avenue from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
The City of West Hollywood will suspend enforcement of permit parking for Pride Weekend from 4 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016 to 11:59 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2016. All metered parking will be enforced on Friday, June 10, 2016 and Saturday, June 11, 2016. Metered parking will not be enforced on Sunday, June 12, 2016 during the day of the Pride Parade. Attendees of festivities are encouraged to observe the boundaries of the City of West Hollywood; if parking occurs in the City of Los Angeles and/or the City of Beverly Hills, all parking restrictions must be observed.
Public parking will be available at the following locations Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Special Event rate on Sunday will be $20.

Pride Ride will offer a safe and convenient way to get to and from Hollywood and Highland and to reach a destination in the City of West Hollywood during Pride Weekend. Pride Ride will run along Santa Monica Boulevard in a four-mile loop with 15 stops in each direction between Robertson Boulevard and La Brea Avenue on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m.; on Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.; and on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. For a downloadable PDF route map with detailed information about schedules and stops visit www.weho.org/prideride.
Pride-goers may also take one of several Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) bus lines that connect to the City of West Hollywood, including: 4/704, 10, 30/330, 105/705, 212/312, 217, and 218. In addition, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, an estimated 2,500 AIDS/LifeCycle riders will pedal through the City of West Hollywood along Santa Monica Boulevard and N. Ogden Drive to celebrate the completion of their 545-mile journey from SF to LA. Cheer on the cyclists from the sidewalk as they stream through West Hollywood. Santa Monica Boulevard will be open to traffic; there will be a single-lane eastbound closure for several hours during the day.
