New Municipal Parking Lot to Open
The City of West Hollywood will host a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the City’s newest municipal parking lot, located on the west side of N. Robertson Boulevard between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.
The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony will take place on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Robertson Lot, located at 617 N. Robertson Boulevard. Members of the City Council of the City of West Hollywood will host the ribbon-cutting festivities. The event is free and open to everyone. No RSVP is required.
“While N. Robertson is known for its many exciting nighttime clubs and restaurants, it is also the gathering spot for hundreds of people daily seeking recovery from addiction,” said West Hollywood Mayor John J. Duran. “The new lot next to the Log Cabin will accommodate the many members of the recovery community who come to West Hollywood to stay free from alcohol and drug dependence.”
The Robertson Lot will provide 29 new parking spaces which will offer added accessibility and convenience for people to access shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, galleries, and more in the City’s Design District and for getting to destinations on N. Robertson Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, and Melrose Avenue. The Robertson Lot will also provide additional options for parking during the completion of improvements at West Hollywood Park.
The City of West Hollywood’s Parking Services Division facilitates more than 1,000 spaces of vehicle parking in more than one dozen structures and surface lots located throughout the City’s 1.9-square-mile area.
