City Presents Free Theatre in the Park: Classical Theatre Lab’s The Last Days of Don Juan
Presented with the support of the City of West Hollywood’s Arts Division, Classical Theatre Lab brings one of theatre’s most beloved rogues to life in the play, The Last Days of Don Juan. Free outdoor classical theatre returns to West Hollywood after a three year hiatus for eight weekend performances only beginning Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 3 p.m. and running Saturdays and Sundays through August 11, 2019 at Kings Road Park, located at 1000 N. Kings Road. The show will not be performed on Sunday, July 21 or Saturday, August 3.
The legendary, lascivious libertine, Don Juan, the seducer of Seville, comes alive in West Hollywood in Tirso De Molina’s The Last Days of Don Juan, adapted by Nick Dear, and directed by Suzanne Hunt. The play features Cesar Di Bello, Virtic Emil Brown, Christina Conte, Carolyn Crotty, Carlo Figlio, Erin Fitzgerald, Stuart W. Howard, Nico Madden, Michael Sturgis, Ian Waters, and Alexander Wells.
The Classical Theatre Lab (CTL) is a Southern California-based ensemble of theatre artists devoted to exploring classical theatre, literature, and performance in its weekly workshops as well as developing contemporary works inspired by the classics. CTL is committed to sharing these works with the public throughout the year.. Attendance is free; seating is first-come, first-served.
