The Parking Division is responsible for the City's public parking facilities, parking enforcement, parking permits, parking meters, bike racks and Bike Share, signage special event parking. We work closely with all divisions and are happy to get you to the appropriate party if what you're looking for is not within our immediate oversight.

Think Twice Before Paying the Meter Beyond 2 Hours
10.07.040 Exceeding Posted Time Limit
Whenever DPW finds that any portion of the highway or of a private street or any parking lot maintained or operated for the public, the city may post signs indicating a maximum time limit. If a vehicle has been parked in an area restricting parking to a specific time interval, such vehicle shall not be re-parked within a distance of five hundred feet of the place initially parked within a period of four hours thereafter. Vehicles used for vending or peddling purposes shall also comply with the provisions of this section.
