Senate Bill 2 (SB2)

The City of West Hollywood is in the process of implementing the state-mandated removal of governmental constraints on special needs housing that serves the elderly, persons with disabilities, the homeless and persons at risk of being homeless. The proposed Zone Text Amendment is consistent with Housing Element adopted as part of the General Plan on September 6, 2011 and is similar to the approach taken in other Westside cities, most recently in Beverly Hills.
