What is a Zone Text Amendment?

Zone Text Amendments (ZTAs) are updates to the Zoning Ordinance of the West Hollywood Municipal Code which require City Council approval and often involve consideration from the Planning Commission, and sometimes other City commissions and advisory boards, depending on the topic. The Long Range Planning Division is responsible for policy research and analysis, writing staff reports, and carrying ZTAs through the legislative process.

Below you may find staff reports, minutes, ordinances, and resolutions on Zone Text Amendments currently going through the public process (Pending Zone Text Amendments) as well as ZTAs and associated documents that have been recently adopted (Approved Zone Text Amendments).
