CALIFORNIA SENATE BILL 1383 (SB 1383)

Organic waste such as excess food, yard trimmings, paper, and cardboard make up half of what Californians dump in landfills. When these materials break down, they emit powerful greenhouse gases and pollutants. Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383) is intended to reduce these short-lived climate pollutants.
