Parking permit options for eligible local businesses, employees, and commercial parking needs.

Commercial Parking Districts

Commercial parking permit eligibility and parking availability vary by district. Businesses should review the commercial parking map before applying and contact Parking Services if they are unsure which permit type applies to their location.

Areas not identified for commercial permit parking may be restricted to residential permit parking or otherwise unavailable for commercial permit holders.

Commercial Oversized Vehicle Parking

Temporary parking accommodations may be available for oversized commercial vehicles such as tour buses, production trucks, or trailers.

  • Oversized threshold: More than 3/4 ton, more than 20 feet in length, or more than 7 feet in height.
  • Tour buses: May be approved for 1–3 night stays at predesignated commercial meter locations.
  • Review: Requests are subject to availability, location restrictions, and operational review.
  • Fees: Oversized vehicle and encroachment permits are not included in the commercial permit fee table below. Applicable fees are calculated separately based on the request type, location, duration, and required parking accommodations.

Specialized and Long-Term Oversized Accommodations

Parking needs that do not fall within the standard short-term oversized vehicle process, including permanent oversized vehicle storage, long-term staging, or parking within City-operated garages and lots, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Oversized vehicle and encroachment permit fees are separate from the commercial permit fees listed below. Fees may vary depending on the location, number of spaces or meters affected, duration of the request, and the type of parking accommodation required.

Construction-related parking needs must be requested through the City's Engineering Division. For monthly parking information at City-operated garages or lots, please email Parking Services.

What to Include in Your Request

  • Vehicle information: Vehicle type, dimensions, weight class, and quantity.
  • Location: Requested street, lot, garage, or proximity to the business.
  • Duration: Requested start date, end date, and daily parking hours.
  • Purpose: Description of the operational need.

Requests for non-predesignated locations may require additional review or coordination with other City divisions, including Code Enforcement or Engineering.
