Cityline Local and Commuter

Cityline Local is a free neighborhood fixed-route shuttle connecting riders to key destinations within West Hollywood and Cedars-Sinai.

Cityline Commuter is a free fixed-route, express shuttle linking West Hollywood to major regional transit hubs, including the Hollywood/Highland Metro station.

Bus Pass Subsidy The City offers a subsidy to the Metro monthly bus pass for Senior or Disabled Orange TAP Card holders. Applications for the discounted TAP cards are available at www.metro.net

  • Access Services 

    Provides paratransit service for individuals with disabilities who are unable to use regular bus routes in Los Angeles County. To qualify, riders must have a disability that prevents them from using fixed-route public transit. Eligibility is determined through an application and in-person assessment process. To apply, visit www.accessla.org or call 1-800-827-0829 [800-827-1359 for the hearing impaired]. 

  • Runs commuter bus service linking West Hollywood to the Antelope Valley and other regional destinations. The AVTA Commuter Route 786 has stops at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. 

  • Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) DASH 

    Offers convenient, low-cost neighborhood shuttle service within West Hollywood and nearby communities. The DASH Fairfax line travels along portions of Melrose Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood, connecting to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Park La Brea in Los Angeles. 

  • Metro 

    Operates Local and Rapid bus routes that connect West Hollywood to surrounding areas and major destinations across Los Angeles County. Below are the Metro bus lines that travel through West Hollywood. 

    • Metro Line 2: Runs along Sunset Blvd, connecting to Westwood and Downtown LA.

    • Metro Line 4: Travels Santa Monica Blvd, linking West Hollywood to Downtown LA and Santa Monica.
       
    • Metro Line 10: Serves Melrose Avenue, going from West Hollywood to Downtown LA. 

    • Metro Line 14: Connects Downtown LA to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center via Beverly Blvd. 

    • Metro Line 16: Runs along West 3rd Street, offering service from Downtown LA to West Hollywood.

    • Metro Line 105: Operates along La Cienega Blvd connecting West Hollywood to South LA; provides service to the Wilshire/La Cienega Metro D-Line subway station in Beverly Hills.

    • Metro Line 212: Travels along La Brea Avenue, providing a direct connection to West Hollywood from Inglewood, Hollywood, and surrounding communities; provides service to the Wilshire/La Brea Metro D-Line subway station.

    • Metro Line 217: Operates along Fairfax Avenue, connecting West Hollywood to Culver City, Hollywood, and Glendale; provides service to the Wilshire/Fairfax Metro D-Line subway station.
