The City offers a variety of activities, sports, excursions, and aquatic programming for all ages at the West Hollywood Aquatic and Recreation Center, Plummer Park, and Kings Road Park. To participate and find out more, visit weho.org/recreation.

NextGen is an initiative formed to create a space for the City of West Hollywood’s next generation of leaders. This effort aims to increase engagement with the City’s 40-and under population by inviting the community to participate in new, non-traditional events and activities.

People who live or work in West Hollywood are eligible to use the City’s Public Access facility to produce their own television programming for the City’s Public Access Channel 36 on Spectrum.

The WeHo Civic Leadership Academy is a unique multi-session program that offers a behind-the-scenes look at everyone's favorite City! Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of how municipal government operates and delivers services, empowering constituents to advance community priorities and shape the future of local governance.

The City works with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk to coordinate municipal elections within the City of West Hollywood. General Municipal Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November in even numbered years.
