Mediation is a free service that allows tenants and landlords to resolve disputes without the time/fiscal costs or formality of the hearing process.

Non-Rent-Controlled Unit Registry
Most properties with rental units that are not subject to rent limits under the RSO are required to follow the registration and tenancy re-registration process. Once a property is registered, landlord have an ongoing duty to re-register new tenancies and registration fees must be paid annually.

Rental Listings are provided by property owners and are available as a community service. The City makes no representation about the rental listings, including location, condition, status, or rental terms. Please conduct your own inquiries and investigations before signing a lease.

Interest is due in January 2026 for security deposits held during 2025.

Annual General Adjustment

  • 2.25% for rent increases effective September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026

  • Rent Increases can only be applied once every 12 months
