C-SPAN, the Cable Satellite Public Affairs Network, produces several program services available for cable television providers. The main programming on the original C-SPAN is coverage of the U.S. House of Representatives. Similarly, C-SPAN2 primarily covers the U.S. Senate and provides gavel-to-gavel coverage when the Senate is in session.

Time Warner Cable does not currently provide C-SPAN2 on an analog channel in West Hollywood. In order to make this important government access service available to all of our residents, the City of West Hollywood has allocated one of its channels for C-SPAN2. This channel is included in the Broadcast Basic service.

For more information about C-SPAN channels and its schedules, visit their Web site.
