The Fearless Girl Statue
by Kristen Visbal
Statue commissioned by SSGA, Replica of Original
The City of West Hollywood has a long tradition of celebrating March as Women's History Month. The original version of this statue was first installed on March 7, 2017 (the day before International Women's Day) facing the Charging Bull statue near Wall Street in New York City. This replica of the original is on loan to the City of West Hollywood by the artist and was installed on March 7, 2019, just in time for International Women's Day. The statue will remain on view for the duration of March 2019 at the West Hollywood Library during regular library hours.
