Even the best athletes in the world must first master the fundamentals, and with our FUN-damentals of Sports program your child can begin to do just that. With a focus on basic skills and rules in a fun and friendly environment, your child will develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination while learning the essential aspects of the game. Seasonal sports are scheduled as follows:

Winter (January-February): Basketball
Spring (March-April): T-Ball
Fall (September-October): Soccer

Ready for fast-paced, action-packed fun? Dive into the exciting world of futsal at the West Hollywood Aquatic Recreation Center! Futsal is a dynamic, indoor version of soccer played on a smaller court, emphasizing skill, agility, and quick thinking. It's perfect for honing your footwork, improving your reaction time, and getting a fantastic workout. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, our open play sessions are the perfect place to experience the thrill of futsal. Expect intense rallies, creative plays, and a whole lot of fun! Bring comfortable athletic clothing that allows for freedom of movement, indoor soccer shoes or flat-soled athletic shoes (no cleats!), water bottle to stay hydrated.  Parent/Guardian must be present for anyone 16 and under.

There is no online pre-registration for drop-in programs. Check in at Aquatic & Recreation front desk 15 minutes prior to class start. An emergency contact must be added to your ActiveNet account during initial Drop-in Futsal class. Participants will need to take a photo if one is not already on file.

We offer a Winter and Summer Youth Basketball League for kids ages 7-12, which consist of Tuesday night practices, Saturday games, Picture Day and an end-of-season banquet in a positive, child-centered environment. Come out to show us your skills with friends both old and new! Uniforms are included in the registration fee.

The City of West Hollywood welcomes hoopers of all skill levels to our Wednesday night Adult Basketball League! The league will consist of a regular season and play-offs with professional referees and scorekeepers and awards for each team. Registration to be done by team captain with a fee covering administrative costs. Upon registering, the team captain will receive a team roster form to be completed prior to the first game as well as a detailed information guide containing the rules and regulations of the league. Referee fees are $40 per team per game to be paid directly to the referees prior to the start of each game. A strict zero tolerance policy will be in effect for all participants.
