Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced player, the City of West Hollywood has created a place for you and your skills, regardless of your level. Come over to play and meet other enthusiasts and enjoy friendly competition or simply put up some shots. All participants must create an ActiveNet account. A strict zero tolerance behavior policy will be in effect for all participants.

The City of West Hollywood welcomes hoopers of all skill levels to our Wednesday night Adult Basketball League. The league will consist of a regular season followed by playoffs with professional referees and scorekeepers. Registration will be submitted by a team captain with a fee that covers administrative costs. Upon registering the team captain will receive a roster form to be completed prior to the first game, as well as a detailed information guide containing the rules and regulations of the league. Referee fees are $40 per team per game to be paid directly to the referees prior to the start of each game.

Game Times:6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m.

Join WeHo Rec’s Youth Sports Division for our Summer and Winter Youth Basketball Leagues! Our leagues are for kids ages 7-12, and consist of Tuesday evening practices and Saturday morning games in a positive, child centered environment. Come out to show us your skills with friends both old and new! Teams will be divided by age, and there will be separate boys' and girls' leagues, if possible. Uniforms are included in the registration fee. Mandatory Player Skills Assessment and Coaches Clinic held in January for the Winter League and June for the Summer League.

Practices: Tuesday evenings

Games: Saturday mornings

Practice Times: 5:00 pm for Minors Division and 6:00 pm for Majors Division

Game Times: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm

• Bullying, rudeness, physical abuse, and any other act deemed disrespectful by city staff, city contractor, program participant, or member of the public.

• The benefits of Recreation are endless - promoting health, building strong families, and creating a sense of community. To ensure the quality of programs and public safety, all program participants, parents, spectators, coaches, and volunteers must abide by this Code of Conduct:

• All persons shall act with respect towards others; respect their privacy, and personal safety

• All persons shall treat public and private property, City facilities, and equipment with respect

• Observe program rules and regulations at all times

• Behave in a responsible manner, always exercising self-discipline

• Cooperate with or assist the City staff in maintaining safety, order, and discipline

• NEVER TOLERATED AND REASON FOR IMMEDIATE REMOVAL AND DISMISSAL

-  Abusive language or disrespect towards a staff member, volunteer, another participant, or member of the public

-  Discourtesy or rudeness to a fellow participant, staff member, or volunteer

-  Verbal, physical, or visual harassment of another participant, staff member, or member of the public of any kind

-  Bullying or taking unfair advantage of any participant

Gym Rules

• No Food and Drinks (except water) are permitted in the gym

• No Profanity and/or Foul Language

• No Fighting

• No smoking or use of any drugs

• Non-marking athletic shoes must be used at all times when participating in an activity. No boots or open-toe shoes are allowed.

• The City of West Hollywood is not responsible for any lost/stolen items.

• Youth 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult
