Between December 2, 2017 and February 17, 2018, the City of West Hollywood through WeHo Arts and the West Hollywood Library will present the 2017 Winter Sounds Free Concert Series, which will take place in the City Council Chambers at the West Hollywood  Library (625 N. San Vicente Blvd.).

All concerts are FREE to attend and start at 5 PM on Saturdays. RSVPs are requested, but not needed. Limited first come, first served seating will be available.

Jennifer Leitham
Holiday Jazz Concert

Jennifer Leitham's over 40 year career has taken her to the finest concert halls around the world, playing with the likes of Mel Torme', Doc Severinsen, Peggy Lee, k.d. lang and countless other music world greats. With 10 recordings of her own, she has achieved much critical acclaim. The documentary film about her, "I Stand Corrected" won 11 best film awards at film festivals around the world in '12.

Paris Chansons
French & Russian Classics

Paris Chansons is LA’s premier French and international band, known for their original renditions of French favorites from Aznavour, Brel, Dassin, Piaf, Montand to contemporary artists like Zaz. Their exhilarating performances are punctuated by traditional jazz standards in addition to classics in Russian, Italian, and other languages. Four multilingual singers bring an unparalleled diversity to their shows. Superb musicianship anchors the ensemble, moving from jazzy improvisation, to slow-burning balladry, to blistering gypsy fervor.  Paris Chansons takes you an a journey without having to leave your seat (except, of course, to dance!).

Peter Kavanaugh Quartet
American Jazz Standards

Guitarist Peter Kavanaugh’s heart and soul are firmly rooted in jazz standards and the American songbook — an accessible repertoire he interprets with a hip and sophisticated 60s West Coast Cool Jazz sound based in electric guitar and vibraphone. His sunny sound transports listeners to poolside post-war Southern California, and surprises with unexpected elements of bossa nova, blues, bop, and gypsy jazz.

Please note this particular concert has been moved to the West Hollywood Park Auditorium (647 N. San Vicente Blvd.)
