While the job market remains challenging for many, in West Hollywood, there is help available. The WeHo Works program of JVS Los Angeles works to assist and support job seekers and employers who live or work in West Hollywood.  

The WeHo Works program, funded in part by the City of West Hollywood, provides free job search support, additional skills training and job placement assistance.  

Utilizing individual case management, interview and resume workshops, networking support groups, computer tutorials and access to extensive career development materials, including access to many free online resources.  
The impact of the WHEST program is perhaps best captured in the words of a former client (excerpted from the original letter).  

“I want to let you know how much I appreciate all that you did for me. Your encouragement and support I will never forget. … In our individual sessions you showed understanding and compassion and made sure that I believed in myself.   

“The Career Development Center was my home and refuge, not only for me but for all of us who are privileged to live in West Hollywood. It is a safe place to go to, a place that has all the reference material, new job opportunities and so much more. … I do not know of any other city that supports their residents as the city of West Hollywood does.”  
WeHo Works also collaborates with employers in and around West Hollywood, and hosts recruitment events in partnership with employers. WeHo Works staffers attend many of the events sponsored by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to help increase their business contacts and secure potential job leads for clients.
